Yoga
Prevention is 'better than cure' is one of the fundamental precepts of all holistic exercise
and it is why I always try to give the most rounded and thorough approach to any fitness programme
I put together. Thus Yoga has always paid a big part in all my workouts, especially in the latter
years, when bodies begin to creak just that little bit more.
As with the Martial Arts, I am not a fully fledged Yoga teacher, just a pupil that takes the
elements that have worked for her and incorporated into both my own and others workouts.
It is the most amazing exercise and surprisingly hard to the uninitiated. Yoga can give you the
most wonderful sleek muscle tone and stretch you in places you never knew existed.
I would ask everyone to give it a try and, if hooked, there are a few very good Yoga teachers
here in Suffolk where you find a whole new way of moving and improving your whole being.
