If you are one of those people who have tried countless diets, fitness fads, and yet
never seem satisfied with what you achieve then a Personal Trainer is the antidote
to your problems.
Not only am I more than happy to make you fit and healthy, I will listen to your needs and
tailor a fitness and nutrition programme just for you. Everything we would do as a team,
it will ebb and flow with and around your life and its own personal patterns. I am a firm
believer in there is no such thing as a quick fix. I would never insist you gave up
chocolate and wine, if that was your one little treat. We would just work round it.
I am good at my job, and not afraid to say so, I am not boasting, I just know that I love
what I do and get a lot of satisfaction in helping people realise their goals.
How I work
My sessions last 45 minutes, though I can be flexible.
I prefer to work from my fitness studio at home these days since it is fully equipped,
however I can come to your home if that is what you would prefer (I do charge a little
extra for this).
I would rather see you a couple of times a week to begin with so we can get the ball rolling.
However if this is not feasible, once a week can work since I can give you 'homework goals'
to achieve in the meantime.
I teach and work with many different forms of fitness to help you find what works best for
you and, of course, to keep you interested in what you are doing.
I might not be the personal trainer for you, if you feel that is the case (and yes that
has happened in the past – I, for example, hate cross country running these days but know
others that love it) then I will help find the perfect trainer for you.
I don’t know everything, if I feel that you need something more specialised then I can
bring one of my old trainers in for advice.
I used to own and run a Personal Training agency called ‘Fighting Fit’ which had several
hundred trainers on its books. I certainly don’t keep in touch with everyone but I have
a great support network I can call on at any given notice.
